Sociable Earth After returning to shore from Railay Beach and drying off, we were hungry and headed to a Thai restaurant in Krabi Town that I can only describe as aMAYZINg! Well, I did give you a clue in my last post, it’s called May & Zin and sits along the Nopparat Thara Beach. You can’t say amazing without the May and Zin! I really like the name but I love the food even more.
Sometimes you want comfort food that reminds you of home and other times you crave something that’s a local delicacy, and May & Zin have both.
We ate in a Thai restaurant called May & Zin and all the kids chose the same meal: Spaghetti Bolognese.
My parents had a thai curry and mushed vegetables and spicy steamed rice. We walked back and went to the pool. We enjoyed the vast slides and stayed in there for ages.
For dinner, we ate at the hotel where kids ate free, so I had some fish and chips. They were very yummy, served with ketchup and lemon wedges. We also had dessert there: rich chocolate brownies with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream topped with rainbow sprinkles.
A sea adventure, a volcano, fish in the sea, a storm, boat ride and good food – overall a day that redeemed itself despite the rain (and our baby sister)!
