Dad said the mosque was packed and the atmosphere was very peaceful. While they were praying, Soha bought two flower keyrings and I bought a silver necklace in a purple velvet box. There are definitely some interesting trinkets and accessories here at KLCC that you wouldn’t be able to get in the UK.
We then met up with the boys and enjoyed our lunch at Chillies. Soha and me wolfed down a huge delicious chicken burger with chilli sauce, crunchy lettuce and Thai homemade dressing.
We then headed to Baskin Robbins for dessert – my dad’s absolute favourite ice-cream cafe. His favourite is a raspberry one called Love Potion but I enjoy vanilla, chocolate- chip and cookies and cream.
Then we went to a bookshop in a mall and then to an aquarium. Here we saw all kinds of beautiful fish including sharks, octopus, clown-fishes, sea horses, turtles, small eels and even cute little otters. Apart from the Nemos and Dorys, jellyfish, piranhas and sea horses, there were also skeletons of lobsters and porcupines on display.
We dawdled in some shops and bought some Summery clothes, adapting to Malaysia’s heat. I definitely recommend the KLCC mall as you can easily spend a whole day here.
We took a cab back to the hotel and realized we were hungry for dinner so we went to our local favourite Pakistani place – BBQ Nights! We enjoyed savoury lamb chops, yummy dal and brown rice. Delicious.
What an enchanted way to end the day – good food, great company and a KL vibe!
